So, Duane had his 33rd birthday today. Guess what he got?? He got to admit his wife into the hospital.
Yes, I'm back at St Jo E. Mastitis. An infection of the breast (or breasts as is my case).
Started on Christmas day. My fever progressively got worse until today I spiked to 104.5 at the doctor's office.
Doc said we had two options. 1- treat from home with lots of antibiotics 2- go to hospital immediately to be treated with IV.
Even with option 1, I might still have to be admitted after the 24 hours. So since our deductible had been met with the delivery earlier this month, we went ahead and came to the hospital.
I'm here with my sister keeping me company. Duane went home to take care of Alex. Lisa Brady is helping him.
We are feeling a little bit like Job at the moment, but Blessed be the Name! Please keep us in your prayers as we deal with yet another issue!!!
