I don't normally publicize my political opinions because I just don't think politics are truly that important, but this story came to my mind and I thought it was apt.
Once upon a time there was a King. Not just any King, but the best of Kings. One who was loved dearly by the people who lived in his country. And this King ruled with absolute power and authority, but he also loved with absolute grace... meaning that although the laws of the land were strickly enforced the King was more than willing to pay the debt of any criminal himself, if only the criminal would acknowledge the King as king. This therefore meant that while the laws of the land were enforced, the people of the land were under no obligation to acknowledge the King.
Now, in a town in the country lived Bob. And Bob was one who acknowledged the King. Bob got no extra favors for the acknowledgement and had a life that seemed to be like everyone else's except in that he knew who the King really was, which gave Bob great comfort. Eventually, the people of Bob's town thought it would be a good idea to elect a Mayor to help make sure the town ran smoothly. As the people got together to decide who should be mayor it came down to two people.. John and Mitt. John was one who acknowledged the King and would make a good mayor. Mitt would make a better mayor but was one who did not acknowledge the King. In fact, Mitt was convinced that someone else was King. So, Bob's choice came down to this: vote for someone who acknowledged the King but may not be the best of mayors (meaning that there would probably still be the same basic problems in town as there are today), or vote for someone who thought someone else was the King but who seemed like could very well make the town a better place to live.

Very interesting story! I like it. I read an article today that said that James Dobson woudln't vote for McCain and that if McCain won the primary, he wouldn't vote for a presidential candidate for the first time in his history, because he couldn't bring himself to vote for Obama, Clinton (whichever wins), or McCain...

I was actually excited about Huckabee but he has not been given much media time and I think that he has suffered because of it. I think all "four front runners" are scary.
