Snow days

We took Alex out to play in the snow today. We got at least an inch of ice yesterday. This morning it started snowing around 10 AM and by 11 AM everything was covered with almost 4 inches of snow. I bundled Alex up in his fleece lined over-alls and we took him outside to explore. We tried to video it, but Alex kept walking back into the garage to play on the steps. I don't think he realizes just how much fun playing in the snow can be. He is fixated on steps.

Alex really enjoyed playing in the snow. He didn't like taking off his clothes afterwards though. They were cold and wet. Burr!!!!

This ice storm seems to be almost as bad as the one that hit central Kentucky 6 years ago. That one had Duane without power for a week. I remember stories about polar bear games and huddling around a large candle to keep warm. We just keep praying for the security of our power lines. I don't want to be cold and showerless.
