Alex naptime funny

Alex has been in a big boy bed for a while now. As a last ditch effort to get him to sleep all night, we converted his crib to a toddler bed when he was 18 months old. His favorite position to sleep on is his belly, curled up in a ball with Bear. I guess he has discovered how comfie his rocker is. One day I went into check on him to make sure he was in his bed and not up playing with his toys, I found him in his rocker like this. He has climbed up into his chair to read his books and sleep had won before he could get back into his bed.

Today, I went into check on him and found him on his chair again but not all the way asleep. I picked him up and put him back in his bed. About 15 minutes later, I went in to check again. This is what I found. Poor little guy had climbed out of his bed and tried to climb back into his favorite comfie chair. Only he didn't make it all the way. One foot was propped up on the foot rest and he was sound asleep like this. He was too tired to make it all the way up. Of course, I put him back into his bed. Such a cutie. I think he likes the comfort and security of feeling the back of the chair on him b.c he's always snug up against the back of the rocker. (but this time he didn't make it!!)
