It's a BOY!!!!

Make sure you have your sound turned on. It's much more entertaining when you hear us talking!

Our doctor had 4-D ultrasound technology. When you get to the part in the video clip where is shows the 4-D image, the video just doesn't do it justice! When we were in the exam room, we could see every little detail of his face. Amazing. It was the coolest thing we've ever seen. As a mother I was amazed to be able to put a face to my child already at only 22 weeks. It makes me smile thinking about it. I started crying as I laid there on the table.
We both laughed when we saw that distinguished Keaton forehead and those bold eyebrows! Look!!! You can actually see the family resemblence already. No denying he is his father's son (and his grandfather's grandson!!) It's no wonder I was so sick for 18 weeks! Our genes were duking it out! Ison vs Keaton. Obviously Keaton won!

"That thing's huge!!!" his proud papa proclaimed when we saw him on the screen. He's grown a lot since our 10 week ultrasound. According to the ultrasound he is already 1.2 lbs.
Before the tech could get a good slide of his bottom for us to see on the screen, I caught a glimpse of his little pee pee. "Do I see what I think I see??" In a few seconds it was confirmed. It's a boy!!! I knew from the very beginning of our pregnancy. That gutt feeling. Mother's intuition. Duane immediately started dreaming of John Eldridge moments to have with our son. One name he suggested was "Warrior King Keaton" I shut him down when he suggested a "good Klingon name would be appropriate. Something like Worf." Sorry, I can only allow myself to be so much of a geek.

Let us know if you have any good warrior names. We are taking suggestions.

I think "Warrior Poet Keaton" would be more fitting. Or maybe "Max Power Keaton." But seriously, "Alex Warrior Keaton" would be an awesome name!!

For some reason, Scandinavian names are coming to mind for me if you want warrior-sounding names. Leif, Erik, names like that. I kind of like the "Max Power" thing--although I'd have to call him Homer if you did that.

You could go really cutesy and name him Kaiser Keaton. That way, he'd be a German emperor. :)
